Port Facilities

The Prince of Wales Dock at the Port of Workington is a modern enclosed dock with seven berths owned and operated by the Port Authority. The quay frontage totals 772.7 metres.

The Port of Workington provides both Harbour and Stevedoring services. The Prince of Wales Dock has accommodation for ships up to 12,000 dwt, 137.2 metres in overall length and 20.4 metres beam.

In addition, there is a tidal harbour, affording fishing and leisure facilities.
